Article 1. Personal Data processed

  1. In this privacy statement, we describe how Privinity processes the personal data of its Users in a general sense.
  2. The personal data processed by Privinity includes, but is not limited to:
    1. First and last name;
    2. Email address;
    3. and any other contact information provided in writing by the User to Privinity.

Article 2. Collection and use of personal data

  1. Privinity collects personal data from a User when the User provides this personal data to Privinity via the Website, for example, by filling out the contact form.
  2. Privinity uses this personal data for the purpose for which the User has provided the personal data to Privinity. This may, for example, include the establishment of an agreement in which the data subject is a party.

Article 3. Sharing of personal data with third parties

  1. Privinity does not disclose personal data to third parties unless Privinity is legally obligated to do so based on the law or a court decision.

Article 4. References to other websites and cookies

  1. The website may contain links to other websites. Privinity is not responsible for the compliance with privacy laws of these other websites.
  2. Privinity does not use cookies on its website to track the User during their visit to the Website. No third-party analytical cookies are used either.

Article 5. Access, correction, or deletion of data

  1. The User has the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data. Additionally, you have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Privinity. You also have the right to data portability. This means that the respective User can request Privinity to send the personal data held by Privinity about you in a computer file to you or another organization specified by you.
  2. A request for access, correction, deletion, and/or data transfer, a request to withdraw your consent, or an objection can be sent to info@privinity.com.
  3. Privinity will make efforts to respond to a User’s request for access, correction, supplementation, deletion, relocation, and shielding of personal data related to the User within 4 weeks.
  4. To comply with a request for access, Privinity will need to verify the identity of the User. We will use as much information as possible that we have already registered for this purpose. It may be necessary for Privinity to request additional information. In all cases, the data used to verify your identity will be deleted as soon as your identity is confirmed.
  5. Furthermore, Privinity informs the User that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Article 6. Duration of personal data retention

  1. Privinity does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the personal data is processed, unless Privinity is legally obligated to retain personal data for a longer period.

Article 7. Security measures for personal data

  1. Privinity has implemented technical and organizational measures to secure Users’ personal data against loss or unlawful processing. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or if there are indications of misuse, please contact us via info@privinity.com.

Article 8. Changes to the privacy statement

  1. Privinity reserves the right to make changes to the privacy statement. Any adjustments will be announced on this page. Therefore, Privinity advises Users to check this page regularly for any updates. The current privacy statement was last updated on January 11, 2024.

Article 9. Applicable law

  1. Dutch law applies to any disputes arising from this Privacy Statement. All disputes between the User and Privinity will be submitted to the competent court of the District Court of Central Netherlands (Rechtbank Midden-Nederland).
